About the position

The Manager, Supplier Quality position at Raytheon is responsible for overseeing the quality inspection of supplier materials, particularly focusing on the management of non-conforming materials at the company's third-party logistics partner. This role involves ensuring compliance with supplier statements of work, driving corrective actions, and collaborating with various cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities

• Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports.
• Disposition of non-conforming material, purges, and material in quality hold.
• Daily interaction with cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in workforce planning and forecasting.
• Develop and execute training documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or an Advance Degree in a STEM related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with dispositioning non-conforming material.
• Experience with supplier statement of work compliance.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong management skills including decision-making and delegation.
• Experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office Tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or ASQ.
