This position is responsible for acting as the Global process owner for supply chain accounting, ensuring that all financial data is gathered accurately and in a timely manner. The manager will also be tasked with identifying enhancements to streamline data flows from subsystems to simplify and expedite financial reporting processes. Collaboration is key in this role, as the manager will work closely with other corporate departments and operating units to develop or refine financial reporting processes. Training company personnel on accounting and consolidation requirements, as well as ensuring adherence to GAAP, will also be part of the responsibilities. The manager will need to maintain organized documentation of accounting issues and processes, and will work with internal and external auditors on document requests. Additionally, the role may involve managing special projects related to financial system integration and process improvements as requested by management.
