About the position

The Manager of Supply Chain Analytics at Five Below is responsible for leading a team of analysts to leverage advanced data analysis tools and techniques. This role focuses on supporting logistics, fulfillment, distribution, and transportation operations by distilling complex analyses into actionable insights. The manager will also oversee project portfolios, establish prioritization processes, and develop frameworks for effective data visualization, ultimately driving business success through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of Supply Chain Analysts in advanced data analysis tools and techniques.
• Distill complex analysis into packaged data insights.
• Leverage Supply Chain knowledge to partner with management teams in defining business requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of projects within Supply Chain Analytics, establishing processes for prioritization and ROI assessment.
• Build frameworks for effective data visualization and business case development.
• Identify critical metrics that drive the business and necessary supporting measures.
• Develop and deliver presentations and reports to internal stakeholders and the executive team.
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting and forecasting updates, tracking realized savings from analytics initiatives.
• Liaison with IT to ensure availability of data sources in the data warehouse.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Analytics roles, preferably in a Retail environment, with experience in program strategy and end-to-end delivery.
• 2+ years leading Analytics teams, with a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
• 2+ years experience querying large datasets (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI).
• Experience in Supply Chain Operations, including Import Logistics, Warehousing/Fulfillment, eCommerce Logistics, and Transportation.
• Experience deploying Supply Chain visibility solutions and using data to assess improvement opportunities.
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt in a changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
