About the position

Rich Products Corporation, a family-owned food company, is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Finance. This role serves as a finance business partner, providing timely and sound financial reporting, financial planning, and decision support to Procurement and CS&L Business Leaders. The Manager will ensure long-term profitable growth by collaborating with Supply Chain leaders and supporting strategic planning processes and key initiatives. The position involves the development of accurate financial models based on realistic assumptions to meet business needs, acting as the financial process owner within Procurement and CS&L, and providing decision support by transforming financial data into actionable business insights. The Manager will lead analysis and forecasting as part of the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, manage the approval process for savings initiatives, and improve supplier master data and spend classification reporting by leveraging analytics tools. Additionally, the role includes capital spending support, ensuring that business cases for growth capital requests are properly developed. As a people manager, the individual will develop the finance team's skills and competencies, ensuring associates are trained and effectively utilizing systems and business tools such as SAP and Oracle BI. The Manager will also serve as a finance liaison with USC Finance, Corporate Cost Accounting, and other functions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and sound financial reporting and financial planning to Procurement and CS&L Business Leaders.
  • Develop accurate financial models to support business needs based on realistic assumptions.
  • Act as the financial process owner within Procurement and CS&L.
  • Transform financial data into business insights for evaluating current performance and future forecasts.
  • Lead analysis and forecasting as part of the monthly S&OP process.
  • Manage the approval process of savings initiatives to ensure defined criteria are met and benefits impact the P&L.
  • Improve supplier master data and spend classification reporting by leveraging spend analytics tools.
  • Support capital spending by ensuring properly supported business cases for growth capital requests are developed.
  • Develop finance team skills and competencies, ensuring associates are trained in systems and business tools.
  • Serve as a finance liaison with USC Finance, Corporate Cost Accounting, and other functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant financial experience or 5 years with an MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Sales & marketing and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP and Oracle BI systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
