About the position

The Manager, Supply Chain Inventory Management at Sysco is responsible for overseeing a team of associates dedicated to planning and replenishment within the Integrated Planning department. This role involves managing a group of over 10 planners and analysts, ensuring that they meet or exceed established goals on strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The manager will contribute to the development and execution of planning and replenishment processes, ensuring that supplier and product assortment initiatives are effectively managed. In this position, the manager will provide valuable feedback on Integrated Planning capabilities, which include demand planning, replenishment, supplier engagement, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE). The role requires working cross-functionally, leveraging both experience and analytical skills to influence and connect with various teams in a credible manner. The manager is expected to create and foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes engagement, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, all while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the planning and replenishment associates.
  • Achieve KPIs set for the team.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of planning & replenishment processes.
  • Manage the execution of supplier and product assortment initiatives.
  • Provide feedback for Integrated Planning capabilities including demand planning, replenishment, supplier engagement, S&OP, and S&OE.

  • Demonstrate well-developed influencing skills to connect with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement in an operational/field setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Supply Chain experience within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.
  • Experience in leading virtual teams.
  • Multi-functional field experience.
