About the position

The Manager, Supply Chain Management position at RTX Corporation is responsible for overseeing the supplier management process and ensuring effective communication of customer flow through various requirements. This role involves meeting material contract objectives and requires extensive knowledge in procurement, contracts, production control, logistics, and program material strategy. The position demands strong leadership capabilities and is based onsite in either Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities
  • Conduct pre-award Supplier Assessment (RESA)
  • Report, track, and manage an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and ensure delivery of procured material from suppliers
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure accurate cost estimates and staffing for execution
  • Conduct material contract closure activities alongside Contracts and Program Office
  • Establish material priorities across the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and/or program
  • Provide Supply Chain support for Gates 2-11 activities and ensure compliance with Integrated Product Development Program (IPDP)
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) or support the assigned CAM
  • Prepare and develop material pricing strategy and supplier flow down strategy
  • Work with contracts and Supply Chain Advisor to create Material Contract Brief (MCB)

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Control, Receiving, Cost Estimating, Logistics, and/or Finance
  • Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 5 years of experience, or 12 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Earned Value Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working on development or transition to production programs
  • Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations
  • Certified Material Program Manager, Program management certification or equivalent
