About the position

The Manager, Supply Chain Planning position at Pactiv Evergreen is responsible for producing and overseeing manufacturing plans across multiple plants. This hybrid role involves collaboration with Manufacturing Operations and Finance to generate monthly plans, analyze capacity constraints, and ensure alignment with service, inventory, and cost targets. The position requires strong leadership skills to manage direct reports and drive decision-making at various organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Generate monthly manufacturing plans for review with Manufacturing Operations and Finance.
• Analyze capacity constraints and ensure alignment of service, inventory, and cost targets.
• Present polished and concise data and recommendations with good decision quality.
• Drive decision making, including at the Executive level.
• Manage and develop direct reports.

Requirements

• BA/BS required with emphasis in supply chain, business or operations management preferred.
• 5+ years business or supply chain experience in a multi-facility environment.
• Ability to lead direct reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy - Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system required; SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder a plus.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• High analytical ability.
• Self-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues.
• Strong organization skills and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolution.
• Demonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder ERP systems.
