As the Supply Planning Manager, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for ensuring that our supply chain operations meet the demands of our customers while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. This role is pivotal in analyzing demand and developing inventory supply plans that align with customer service targets, production site capacity, and forecasted requirements. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining volume projections for Starting Materials, Drug Substance, and Drug Product, which are essential for our production processes. Your responsibilities will include providing critical analysis of primary business drivers and contributing to the annual budget and projection processes. You will also be responsible for generating purchase orders for suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and internal lead-time requirements. Monitoring purchase order receipts and ensuring timely delivery of products will be key to maintaining our inventory plan and safety stock policies. In this role, you will identify and resolve supply exceptions, working closely with production sites to expedite or reprioritize orders as necessary. As a leader, you will develop and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the planning counterparts at our manufacturing sites and the External Manufacturing Supply Chain Virtual Plant Team. You will play a crucial role in new product introductions and transfer projects, ensuring that suppliers can meet all supply requirements and launch dates. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing employee performance goals, providing feedback, and creating professional development plans for your direct reports. Your leadership will extend to implementing supply chain performance metrics and ensuring adherence to BMS Standard Operating Procedures. You will collaborate with the Enterprise Inventory Optimization team to determine appropriate inventory levels and drive efficiencies while maintaining customer service. This role requires a high level of accuracy in maintaining Supply Chain Master Data and coordination with the Master Data team to validate and correct errors. Participation in monthly Change Control, Supply Chain, and Quality Meetings will also be part of your responsibilities.
