About the position

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a high-potential, meticulous, and dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our executive search team. This role is pivotal in driving the full talent acquisition lifecycle for all Vice President (VP) and above hiring needs. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers, ensuring a seamless recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's hiring plan, headcount planning, and data-driven reporting, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. This position will also focus on scaling the company culture and using Vantage's core values to guide the development of the next generation of employees. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and will play a critical part in the development and execution of Vantage's executive search strategy. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the executive search process, ensuring a lasting and impactful candidate experience while collaborating with internal business partners. The position requires a focus on passive sourcing to reduce reliance on third-party staffing agencies and to meet assigned talent acquisition goals, metrics, and KPIs. Additionally, you will promote the company's employer brand through various channels, participate in employer branding initiatives, and leverage technology to enhance recruitment efforts. The role also involves managing requisition reviews, generating innovative solutions for hard-to-fill positions, and collaborating with various departments to understand their future needs. You will create and implement the annual talent acquisition strategy, support the optimization of ATS software, and provide insights on labor market practices to ensure effective talent acquisition aligned with business needs. As a leader, you will mentor and coach team members in full-cycle recruitment practices, driving improved partnerships and performance while adhering to Vantage's core values. This position can be remote based in North America, with some travel required (less than 15%) across North America and Canada, and a preference for candidates to be in the office at least two days a week if located in Colorado or another Vantage location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the executive search process and recruitment efforts.
  • Create a lasting and impactful candidate experience while ensuring efficient program flow with internal business partners.
  • Focus on passive sourcing to eliminate reliance on third-party staffing agencies.
  • Be the primary recruiter on assigned requisitions where applicable.
  • Meet and drive assigned talent acquisition and department goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through various channels, including social media and networking events.
  • Leverage technology to find the best candidates and drive continued use and evolution of technology adoption.
  • Create and ensure accurate reporting, data & analytics, and talent insights for executive updates and business reviews.
  • Lead requisition reviews with assigned departments, providing appropriate content and status updates.
  • Generate creative and innovative ideas to address niche, hard-to-fill requisitions.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition practices, focusing on increasing high-quality direct hires.
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies.
  • Collaborate with global talent acquisition leaders to simplify and improve the recruiting process.
  • Upskill management and leadership in standard recruiting practices.
  • Develop relationships with various departments to understand future needs.
  • Create and implement the annual talent acquisition strategy and suggest process improvements.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ATS software to drive performance and decision-making.
  • Provide trends, analysis, and intelligence on labor and recruiting market practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition lifecycle within high growth companies is preferred.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Data Center experience is preferred but not essential; should have a track record recruiting into technical roles.
  • International experience, particularly in Canada, is desirable.
  • Demonstrable track record of improving talent acquisition processes and candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and adept with data and analytics.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and develop effective partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
