About the position

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a high-potential, meticulous, and dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our executive search team. This role is pivotal in driving the full talent acquisition lifecycle for all Vice President (VP) and above hiring needs. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers, ensuring a seamless recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's hiring plan, headcount planning, and data-driven reporting, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion and scaling the company culture. This position is crucial for maintaining Vantage's competitive edge in the market and will report to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will lead all aspects of the executive search process, focusing on passive sourcing to reduce reliance on third-party staffing agencies. You will promote the company's employer brand through various channels, participate in employer branding initiatives, and leverage technology to enhance recruitment efforts. The Manager will also be responsible for creating accurate reporting and analytics for executive updates and business reviews, ensuring that the talent acquisition practices align with the company's strategic goals. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with various departments, including Design Engineering, Construction, Tech & Systems, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Sales, to understand their future needs and improve the global recruiting process. You will also coach and mentor team members in talent acquisition practices, driving improved partnerships and performance while adhering to Vantage's core values. This role can be performed remotely within North America, with some travel required, primarily across North America and Canada, but expected to be less than 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the executive search process and create a lasting candidate experience.
  • Focus on passive sourcing to eliminate reliance on third-party staffing agencies.
  • Be the primary recruiter on assigned requisitions where applicable.
  • Meet and drive assigned Talent Acquisition and Vantage department goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through social media, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Leverage technology such as ChatGPT, Textio, Prelude, LinkedIn, and Workday to find candidates.
  • Create and ensure accurate reporting, data & analytics, and talent insights for executive updates.
  • Lead requisition reviews with assigned departments and provide status updates.
  • Generate creative ideas to solve niche, hard-to-fill requisitions.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition practices with a focus on increasing direct hires.
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Acquisition leaders to improve recruiting processes.
  • Upskill management and leadership in consistent recruiting practices.
  • Develop relationships with various departments to understand business needs.
  • Create and implement the annual talent acquisition strategy and plan.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ATS software to drive performance.
  • Provide trends and analysis on labor and recruiting market practices.
  • Manage and mentor team members in full-cycle recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition lifecycle within high growth companies.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting into technical roles (Design, Engineering, Tech & Systems, Construction, Operations) is preferred.
  • International experience, particularly in Canada, is desirable.
  • Demonstrable track record of improving talent acquisition processes and candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and adept with data and analytics.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives.
