About the position

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a high-potential, meticulous, and dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our executive search team. This role is pivotal in driving the full talent acquisition lifecycle for all Vice President (VP) and above hiring needs. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers, ensuring a seamless recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's hiring plan, headcount planning, and data-driven reporting, with a strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion. This position will also focus on scaling the company culture and guiding the next generation of employees to empower Vantage Data Centers in achieving its mission and vision. The Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition and will play a critical role in the development and execution of Vantage's executive search strategy. This includes leading all aspects of the executive search process, promoting the company's employer brand, leveraging technology for recruitment, and managing end-to-end talent acquisition practices. The role requires collaboration with various departments to understand business needs and improve global recruiting processes. Additionally, the Manager will coach and mentor team members in Talent Acquisition, driving improved partnerships and performance while aligning with Vantage's core values. This position can be remote based in North America, with some travel required across North America and Canada, expected to be less than 15%. Candidates located in Colorado or other Vantage locations are preferred to work in the office at least two days per week. The physical demands of the job include occasional standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the executive search process and create a lasting candidate experience.
  • Focus on passive sourcing to eliminate reliance on third-party staffing agencies.
  • Be the primary recruiter on assigned requisitions where applicable.
  • Meet and drive assigned Talent Acquisition and Vantage department goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through various channels, including social media and networking events.
  • Leverage technology to find the best candidates and drive continued technology adoption within the team.
  • Create and ensure accurate reporting, data & analytics, and talent insights for executive updates and business reviews.
  • Lead requisition reviews with assigned departments, providing appropriate content and status updates.
  • Generate creative solutions for niche, hard-to-fill requisitions.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition practices with a focus on increasing high-quality direct hires.
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies.
  • Collaborate with global Talent Acquisition leaders to simplify and improve recruiting processes.
  • Upskill management and leadership in consistent recruiting practices.
  • Develop relationships with various departments to understand future needs.
  • Create and implement the annual talent acquisition strategy and suggest process improvements.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ATS software to drive performance and decision-making.
  • Provide trends, analysis, and intelligence on labor and recruiting market practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition lifecycle within high growth companies is preferred.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting into technical roles (Design, Engineering, Tech & Systems, Construction, Operations, etc.) is preferred.
  • International experience, particularly in Canada, is desirable.
  • Demonstrable track record of improving talent acquisition processes and candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and adeptness with data and analytics.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with employer branding initiatives.
