About the position

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a meticulous and dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead our executive search team. This role is pivotal in driving the full talent acquisition lifecycle for all Vice President (VP) and above hiring needs. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers, ensuring a seamless recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's hiring plan, focusing on headcount planning, data-driven reporting, and promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization. This position is crucial for maintaining Vantage's competitive edge in the market and will involve close collaboration with various departments including New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal. The Manager will also play a key role in promoting the company's employer brand through various channels, including social media and networking events, while leveraging technology to enhance recruitment efforts. The position requires a strong focus on passive sourcing to reduce reliance on third-party staffing agencies and to ensure a high-quality candidate experience. The Manager will be responsible for leading requisition reviews, generating innovative solutions for hard-to-fill roles, and collaborating with global Talent Acquisition leaders to streamline recruiting processes. In addition to recruitment responsibilities, the Manager will mentor and coach team members, ensuring alignment with Vantage's core values and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role may require some travel across North America and Canada, but this is expected to be less than 15%. Candidates located in Colorado or other Vantage locations are preferred to work in the office at least two days a week. The physical demands of the job include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and the ability to perform various physical activities such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs. This position offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $125,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) program with company matching.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the executive search process and recruitment efforts for VP and above positions.
  • Create a lasting and impactful candidate experience while ensuring efficient program flow with internal business partners.
  • Focus on passive sourcing to eliminate reliance on third-party staffing agencies.
  • Meet and drive assigned Talent Acquisition and departmental goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through social media, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Leverage technology such as ChatGPT, Textio, Prelude, LinkedIn, and Workday to find top candidates.
  • Generate creative solutions for niche, hard-to-fill requisitions.
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies with various departments.
  • Create and implement the annual talent acquisition strategy and plan, suggesting process improvements.
  • Manage and mentor team members in full-cycle recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition lifecycle within high growth companies.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving talent acquisition processes and candidate experience.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and develop effective partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred but not essential.
  • International experience, particularly in Canada, is desirable.
