About the position

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a meticulous and dynamic Manager of Talent Acquisition for North America. This role is pivotal in leading a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers, driving the full talent acquisition lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding. The Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's hiring plan, headcount planning, and data-driven reporting, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion. The position is designed to support a specific Vantage business line that will continue to evolve as the company grows. The successful candidate will leverage Vantage's core values to guide and develop the next generation of employees, ensuring the company maintains its competitive edge in the market. The Human Resources team at Vantage is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach, managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement. Unlike traditional HR roles, Vantage's HR professionals are empowered to drive critical processes directly, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. This alignment ensures that the workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success. In this role, the Manager will lead recruiting efforts, create impactful candidate experiences, and promote the company's employer brand through various channels. The position requires a strong focus on passive sourcing to reduce reliance on third-party staffing agencies. The Manager will also be responsible for leveraging technology to enhance recruitment processes and ensure accurate reporting and analytics for executive updates. Collaboration with various departments is essential to understand business needs and improve global recruiting processes. The Manager will also coach and mentor team members in talent acquisition practices, driving improved partnerships and performance while adhering to Vantage's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts and create a lasting and impactful candidate experience.
  • Ensure efficient program flow with internal business partners, focusing on consistency.
  • Focus on passive sourcing to eliminate reliance on third-party staffing agencies.
  • Be the primary recruiter on assigned requisitions where applicable.
  • Meet and drive assigned Talent Acquisition and Vantage department goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand through social media, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Leverage technology to find the best candidates and drive continued technology adoption.
  • Generate creative and innovative ideas to solve niche, hard-to-fill requisitions.
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies.
  • Create and implement the talent acquisition strategy and plan for each year.
  • Manage and mentor team members in Talent Acquisition across all full-cycle recruitment practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition lifecycle within high growth companies.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Demonstrable track record of improving talent acquisition processes and optimizing candidate experience.
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and highly adept with data and analytics.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Data Center experience is preferred but not essential.
  • International experience, specifically in Canada, is desirable.
