The Manager for Talent Acquisition and Nurse Recruitment is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a high-performing talent acquisition team. This position ensures the execution of Talent Acquisition strategy and process that meets customer business needs. The role involves leading a team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Onboarding Specialists in the recruitment of hourly and salary employees in a designated business area. The Manager assists the Talent Acquisition Director with all recruiting-related functions, projects, and execution of talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Jefferson's staffing and talent needs of their designated region or specialty. In this role, the Manager serves as a subject matter expert on recruiting strategy and tactics, providing consulting and coaching to the talent acquisition partners to fulfill hiring goals and ensure timely, quality recruitment and customer service. The Manager is responsible for developing creative and appropriate recruitment initiatives to fill open positions and staying current with external developments and resources that can benefit Jefferson's recruitment efforts. Collaboration with HR departments is essential to develop, recommend, and implement recruitment and workforce planning strategies. The Manager will also develop recruitment metrics with the Director that drive optimal staffing performance, collaborating with the recruitment team and other departments to continually assess the effectiveness of recruiting tools and processes. The position requires filling positions within established time-to-fill metrics and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance the efficiency and compliance of hiring processes. The Manager will research and review methods to make cost-effective recommendations for the department's budget and create, manage, and maintain recruitment reports. Strong working relationships with operations and hiring managers are crucial to understand their hiring needs and coach them on effective behavioral interview techniques, workforce planning practices, and compensation requirements.
