About the position

The Manager, Talent Acquisition at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract, assess, and hire top talent for the organization. This role acts as a strategic partner to hiring managers, leads full-cycle recruitment processes, and contributes to the company's overall talent management strategy. Additionally, this position involves leading and developing a team of recruitment professionals, primarily supporting Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Quality, and Regulatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers to understand business needs and define search parameters.
  • Manage applicant flow by reviewing and advancing resumes in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver pre-qualified diverse candidates.
  • Ensure recruitment efforts are unbiased and compliant with policies and legislation.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection decision process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify interview team roles and competencies.
  • Grow existing networks and foster new relationships through networking events.
  • Provide updates to Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers as needed.
  • Participate in the selection of outside search partners when necessary.
  • Collaborate with HRBP's and compensation team to make job offer recommendations.
  • Assist in creating and enhancing special programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience and 6+ years of relevant experience, including 2 years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry, OR a Master's degree and 4+ years of related experience.
  • Experience delivering full cycle recruitment services.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and attracting qualified candidates.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • High business acumen with effective communication skills across the organization.
