About the position

The Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and talent business strategy at Inovalon. This role involves managing a team of recruiters, handling a requisition load, and implementing best practices in talent acquisition. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance recruitment processes and ensure compliance with regulations, while also focusing on continuous improvement and quality measures in hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary recruitment manager and collaborate with hiring managers to understand business objectives and candidate requirements.
  • Manage a requisition load and lead the direct recruitment of critical positions within the company.
  • Partner with the AVP, Talent Acquisition to enhance the recruitment process and tools for best practices.
  • Track and apply key metrics to drive continuous improvements in candidate sourcing and recruitment decisions.
  • Partner with business leaders to determine staffing needs and produce forecasts and reporting.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Build a network of resources to source candidates and recommend new approaches.
  • Lead the use of recruiting software to track applicants and provide oversight to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Manage, coach, train, and develop the talent acquisition team, providing feedback and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employee-related regulations and timely reporting to outside agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in talent acquisition management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing, consultative, and partnering skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and service orientation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with project and change management, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with ATS platforms, preferably iCIMS, and integrating applications for streamlined operations.
  • Experience using social media for talent sourcing.
