About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Abbott will lead a team of talent acquisition professionals to attract and hire top talent for the US Nutrition manufacturing sites. This role involves strategic partnership with business leaders and HR to ensure effective recruitment processes, enhance candidate experiences, and meet diversity goals. The position is based in Columbus, OH, and supports Abbott's mission of providing science-based nutrition products for all ages.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of TA professionals to attract high caliber talent for US Nutrition manufacturing plants.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment that champions a diverse and equitable culture.
  • Support and lead project work by driving and executing against key expansion plans or functional projects.
  • Establish effective recruitment processes and selection practices.
  • Deliver full-cycle recruiting, from requirement definition to offer negotiations for leadership positions.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing plant leaders and business HR.
  • Implement cost-effective recruiting channels and create innovative campaigns to attract talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 6+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience with a minimum of 3 years in-house TA experience in a matrix environment.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or adjacent industries across various functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and identify effective recruiting strategies.
  • Experience supporting hiring needs at the director level across multiple functions.
  • Subject matter expert in developing marketing campaigns and direct sourcing strategies.
  • Team leadership experience with proven ability to coach and mentor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in manufacturing and high-volume recruitment preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and provide insights.
  • Project management skills with the ability to deliver on project timelines.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for employment law and staffing.
