About the position

The Manager, Talent Acquisition at Barton Malow Company is a pivotal role within the Human Resources function, focusing on enhancing talent management processes related to recruitment, onboarding, and project staffing for construction delivery professionals. This hands-on managerial position involves leading the recruitment team and overseeing full-cycle recruiting for priority roles, ensuring alignment with the organization's dynamic needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own tools, vendor relationships, and processes to ensure successful sourcing, selecting, and onboarding of talent.
  • Supervise and prioritize the workload of the recruitment team to deliver a best-in-industry recruitment experience.
  • Lead vendor management of partner organizations, staffing agencies, headhunters, and job boards.
  • Administer the employee referral bonus program and ensure resolution of discrepancies.
  • Lead compliance, process development, and training of the ATS for consistent utilization across the organization.
  • Audit ATS and analyze Talent Acquisition trends to develop new sourcing strategies.
  • Coordinate integration with internal partners including Engagement, DEI, Systems, and Payroll.
  • Champion college recruiting efforts in partnership with HRBP colleagues and alumni.
  • Author templates, tools, documentation, and notifications for Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a corporate recruiting or agency environment.
  • Supervisory and direct management experience leading teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to network and sell opportunities at various organizational levels.
  • Experience in Construction, Engineering, Automotive, or other relevant industries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with compliance and process development in Talent Acquisition.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and data analysis for recruitment trends.
