About the position

The Manager, Talent Acquisition at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract, assess, and hire top talent for the organization. This role acts as a strategic partner to hiring managers, leads full-cycle recruitment processes, and contributes to the company's overall talent management strategy. The position involves leading and developing a team of recruitment professionals, primarily supporting Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Quality, and Regulatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers to understand business needs.
  • Manage applicant flow by reviewing and advancing resumes in a timely manner.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and deliver pre-qualified diverse candidates.
  • Ensure recruitment efforts are unbiased and compliant with policies and legislation.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection decision process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify interview team roles and competencies.
  • Grow existing networks and foster new relationships through networking events.
  • Provide updates to Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers as needed.
  • Participate in the selection of outside search partners when necessary.
  • Collaborate with HRBP's and compensation team to facilitate job offers.
  • Assist in creating and enhancing special programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience and 6+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry, or a Master's degree in a related field and 4+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience delivering full cycle recruitment services.
  • Ability to work and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Proven track record of sourcing and attracting qualified candidates.
  • High business acumen with effective communication skills.
