About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Atlantic Health System is responsible for leading the nursing and nursing support recruitment team. This role involves providing strategic recruitment advice, managing team members, developing recruitment strategies, and fostering relationships with key community groups and hiring managers. The manager will also oversee the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives and ensure alignment with the health system's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to Talent Acquisition team members and supervisors.
  • Develop and communicate goals in alignment with the health system.
  • Offer strategic recruitment advice to hiring managers and talent acquisition professionals.
  • Hire, train, and supervise talent acquisition team members.
  • Manage staff assignments and guide the development of sourcing plans.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to address retention issues.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and recruiting software to monitor applicants.
  • Lead a team of recruiters in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and pre-employment processing.
  • Design, implement, and manage strategic sourcing and Talent Acquisition programs.
  • Develop and track key metrics to evaluate recruitment program performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with business partners to anticipate staffing and retention needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key candidate communities.
  • Cultivate relationships with community groups, agencies, and universities.
  • Ensure consistent corporate branding in recruitment efforts.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
  • Provide project management design and expertise for special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare recruitment.
  • Proven track record of innovation, leadership, and creativity.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment.
  • Proven skills in candidate assessment and selection.
  • Comprehensive understanding of EEO legislation and staffing laws.
  • SHRM Certification is a plus.
  • Experience using Oracle Cloud Recruiting is a plus.
