About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager at Abbott Laboratories is responsible for leading a team of talent acquisition professionals to attract and hire top talent for the US Nutrition manufacturing sites. This role involves strategic partnership with business leaders and HR to ensure effective recruitment processes, enhance candidate experiences, and meet diversity goals. The position supports the growth of the nutrition business by developing innovative recruitment strategies and fostering a diverse and equitable culture within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of TA professionals to attract high caliber talent for US Nutrition manufacturing plants.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment that champions a diverse and equitable culture.
  • Support and lead project work by driving and executing against key expansion plans or functional projects.
  • Establish effective recruitment processes and selection practices.
  • Execute high-quality hiring standards to meet diversity goals and provide exceptional candidate experiences.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing plant leaders and business HR.
  • Deliver full-cycle recruiting, from requirement definition to offer negotiations for leadership positions.
  • Implement cost-effective recruiting channels and create innovative campaigns to attract talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 6+ years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience with a minimum of 3 years in-house TA experience in a matrix environment.
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or adjacent industries across main functions: commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and identify effective recruiting strategies.
  • Experience supporting hiring needs at the director level across multiple functions or business units.
  • Subject matter expert in developing marketing campaigns and direct sourcing strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in manufacturing and high-volume recruitment preferred.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and provide insights for talent acquisition strategy.
  • Project management skills with the ability to deliver on project timelines.
