About the position

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for conducting full life cycle recruitment and developing effective programs for retention, promotion, and succession planning at the Council for Professional Recognition. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing the organization's ability to attract top talent nationally and influences the culture through the talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage talent acquisition initiatives and related programs to align with the Council's mission and values.
  • Recruit full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual, and intern personnel.
  • Manage full life cycle recruitment including posting, sourcing, prescreening, scheduling, background checks, references, offers, and onboarding.
  • Complete the hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time to start.
  • Develop acquisition strategies while minimizing cost-per-hire.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers for collaboration throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Assess labor markets and stay current on emerging platforms and trends for effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on talent acquisition processes and compliance with employment laws.
  • Create and maintain a hiring manager toolkit.
  • Collect, analyze, and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool insights to drive action plans.
  • Develop and maintain effective programs for onboarding, workforce planning, retention, promotion, and succession planning.
  • Create an environment of equal employment opportunity and support the company's JEDIB goals.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on various HR-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten years of broad HR experience including talent management.
  • Recent experience recruiting across multiple disciplines and levels, including nonexempt, exempt, and leadership positions.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing organization-wide talent management programs.
  • Experience in sourcing through various channels including social media and networking.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of talent acquisition principles and human resources administration.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing outreach and sourcing initiatives and diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Experience developing onboarding and succession planning programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $115,000 per year.
