About the position

The Manager, Talent Acquisition at Saint Francis Health System is responsible for managing and organizing system-wide talent acquisition activities with a strong emphasis on data-driven strategies to attract top talent. This role is pivotal in setting priorities that align with ongoing strategic talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring that the health system can effectively meet its growing workforce needs. The Manager collaborates closely with leadership to build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective candidates, thereby supporting the health system's objectives and operational goals. In this position, the Manager will provide subject matter expertise in the design, development, and implementation of talent acquisition functions. This includes building strong relationships with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and talent acquisition strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, both internally and externally. The Manager will also be responsible for recommending, developing, and documenting improvement processes for best practices and technologies that maximize the talent acquisition experience. The role encompasses managing the complete lifecycle of the recruitment process, which includes job postings, sourcing, prescreening, employment offers, and onboarding tasks. The Manager ensures that the hiring process is completed within defined metrics to minimize days-to-fill and overall time-to-start. Additionally, the Manager defines the roles and responsibilities of the talent acquisition team to ensure an effective and efficient recruitment lifecycle while minimizing cost-per-hire. Innovative sourcing and marketing strategies will be developed and implemented to create a pipeline of qualified candidates, ensuring that the health system remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize system-wide talent acquisition activities.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in the design, development, and implementation of talent acquisition functions.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to develop effective sourcing and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Recommend, develop, and document improvement processes for best practices and technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of the recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, prescreening, employment offers, and onboarding tasks.
  • Ensure the hiring process is completed within defined metrics to minimize days-to-fill and overall time-to-start.
  • Define roles and responsibilities of the talent acquisition team to ensure an effective recruitment lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing and marketing strategies to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or closely related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in leading and managing a Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition team.
  • Exceptional knowledge of recruiting methods and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state laws related to employment practices.
  • Effective knowledge of interviewing and selection techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare/service industry experience preferred.
