About the position

Novant Health is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team! Preference for candidates with healthcare experience and/or experience leading a team of 10 plus Recruiters. We are currently looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager with a focus on campus recruitment. Experience recruiting in healthcare and supporting nurse residency programs in a hospital system is preferred. Ideal candidates will have experience growing or expanding a campus function and building a strong pipeline of graduating student programs in other healthcare specialty areas including but not limited to: Allied/Acute Care Services, Nursing Support, Surgical Services, Medical groups. This person should have experience fostering partnerships with our academic partners and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, your primary responsibilities are to drive operational initiatives that will ultimately improve our talent acquisition effectiveness & candidate experience and to support the team to attract, source, and hire diverse executive talent that reflects the communities that Novant Health serves. You will drive many key initiatives for our people programs and create business value through processes, infrastructure, and partnerships across the organization. You will help create and implement scalable, repeatable processes across the Novant Health system that allow for consistency and improved operational effectiveness, as well as focus on optimizing existing programs and processes. To succeed as a Manager of Talent Acquisition, you'll need to be analytical and results driven. You will lead programs to improve operational efficiency, data-driven decision making, and guide change management across the organization. You'll build structure into our processes and work with the recruiting leadership team to provide the analytical support needed to support strategic initiatives. Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field, required.
  • Minimum 5 years working in recruitment operations, talent acquisition, or related consulting experience, required.
  • 3 years of exceptional people management skills with minimum 3 years of experience leading a team, required.
  • Experience working with and optimizing talent acquisition processes, team design, and platforms.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills.
  • The ability to manage and draw insights from data.
  • A demonstrated ability to navigate in complexity and build new processes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledgeable about HR best practices.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with iCIMS or similar ATS, Microsoft Office 365, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, appropriately and inclusively with key stakeholders at all levels.
