About the position

The Manager of Technical Accounting & External Financial Reporting at 3D Systems is a key financial reporting professional responsible for overseeing complex accounting matters and driving the internal financial reporting process. This role involves collaboration with senior management, auditors, and various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with SEC regulations. The position requires expertise in accounting standards and practices, particularly in areas such as stock compensation and lease accounting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of 10-Qs & 10-Ks, including financial statements and footnotes.
• Coordinate and validate data provided by other departments.
• Support the quarterly earnings release process, including preparation of earnings release financial statements and schedules.
• Perform US GAAP and SEC technical research, including preparing position memos for management and external auditors.
• Participate in the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Develop and review accounting policies and procedures for the company.
• Coordinate requests and inquiries from external auditors.
• Perform lease accounting and manage lease accounting software tool.
• Assist with the accounting for equity-based compensation in collaboration with the compensation and benefits team and legal team.
• Calculate basic and diluted shares.
• Prepare and present quarterly disclosure committee materials.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years 'Big 4' public accounting experience in the accounting and audit function with a primarily US public company client base.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Licensed CPA.
