About the position

The Technical Services Manager will oversee the Technical Support team at 4Front's new facility in Kenosha, WI. This role involves coordinating customer-facing technical support, conducting training for customers and technicians, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to address product performance issues. The position requires a strong background in electrical and mechanical services, with a focus on customer support for door systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and directing the customer-facing technical support department.
  • Conducting training and certification for customers, dealers, and service technicians on high-performance door systems.
  • Providing recommendations concerning product performance in the field.
  • Liaising with Engineering and Production on expedient corrective actions of issues.
  • Managing travel requirements, which may involve up to 20% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10+ years' experience in a quality, technical, or technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • 3-5 years' of leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professionalism and teamwork capabilities.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.
