About the position

The AWS Infrastructure Data Center Delivery team is seeking a Manager to lead a team of Technical Infrastructure Program Managers (TIPM) responsible for delivering capacity across clusters in Canada and Latin America. This role involves driving innovative infrastructure programs, improving capacity utilization, and ensuring the highest standards for safety and security in AWS data centers. The Manager will communicate effectively with stakeholders, influence global initiatives, and enhance program execution while managing a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performance team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive career growth.
• Develop and review metrics to assess performance against targets.
• Identify risks and opportunities related to capacity issues and resolve constraints.
• Provide concise written and verbal communication to stakeholders, including project summaries and technical discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience in capital projects or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale budgets for infrastructure projects.
• Industry experience in data center, networking engineering, or construction management.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor or Master's Degree or similar advanced professional degree.
• Background in Data Center Infrastructure design, operations, or delivery.
