About the position

The Manager, Technical Product at Royal Caribbean Group is responsible for leading a team that defines and executes the strategy for technology products across various brands. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance the guest and employee experience through innovative product development and optimization. The Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation, ensuring adherence to product roadmaps and architectural principles while fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and user-focused design.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over the strategic direction of technology products across all brands.
• Lead the team responsible for developing the vision and definition of technology products.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery of products and projects.
• Set corporation-wide technology standards and practices for product development.
• Develop the overall product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and other product leaders.
• Manage personnel aspects including hiring, training, and development of team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years in a product, design or engineering senior leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in leading teams to bring high-quality technology products to market.
• Proven track record of leading large teams through ideation, design, and delivery of complex products.
• Deep understanding of product management and user experience design, particularly in Shipboard Technology.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Food & Beverage applications and operations.
• Ability to produce executive-level presentations for leadership communication.
• Knowledge of agile principles in software development lifecycle.
