About the position

As the Manager of Technical Project Management at Nestlé Purina Pet Care, you will oversee projects related to the Product Supply organization, focusing on IT infrastructure and software development for manufacturing automation. Your role involves managing project performance across various metrics, coordinating team activities, and ensuring that project deliverables align with business objectives. You will create detailed project plans, apply project management methodologies, and manage budgets while monitoring key performance indicators to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage project performance including scope, time, quality, cost, risk, and benefits.
• Coordinate activities of the project team responsible for deliverables.
• Monitor and report on project key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in day-to-day project activities and collaborate with software developers and systems analysts.
• Manage assigned projects throughout their life cycle according to established standards and guidelines.
• Create detailed project plans with milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
• Apply project management tools and methodologies for on-time project execution.
• Identify and manage potential risks and project coordination gaps.
• Oversee technical analysis of manufacturing automation solutions and consult with the business for functional specifications.
• Deliver system modifications for successful software integration with existing IT applications.
• Manage project budget, providing cost forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Monitor KPIs and create reports highlighting underperforming areas.
• Coordinate root cause analysis for unmet targets and support solution implementation.
• Update project details in the portfolio management system and maintain resource plans.
• Review resource time entries to identify deviations and communicate with leadership for project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business management, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in an IT project manager role managing agile, waterfall, or hybrid projects at a large scale.
• 2+ years of experience in IT software development and deployment in manufacturing automation and SAP integration.
