This role is pivotal in ensuring that project deliverables are met with high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. The successful candidate will provide leadership to recruit, manage, and retain the necessary resources for the assigned work groups. This includes managing work groups to achieve service commitments and ensuring sustainable execution of project deliverables. The Manager will be responsible for developing and administering policies, business processes, quality standards, and operating budgets, while also encouraging new ideas for improving organizational performance. In this position, the Manager will partner with cross-functional teams, including senior management, to define project scopes, resources, and timelines. They will guide the team in creating project plans, progress reports, and other essential deliverables for project execution and control. The role also involves establishing and refining internal processes and metrics to support project completion, including software development and business projects. The Manager will communicate schedules and deadlines effectively and make recommendations for improving policies and procedures within the organization. As a supervisory role, the Manager will oversee IT Project Managers, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit. This includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, and providing regular performance feedback. The Manager will also ensure that staff members are aware of business plan objectives and competencies critical to successful job performance. Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication are essential, as this is an internal-facing position that requires managing client relationships and responding to business needs promptly.
