About the position

The Manager Technical Project at HCA Healthcare is responsible for leading product management efforts on assigned product portfolios, which may include various technology stacks and execution methods. Responsibilities

  • Lead product management efforts on assigned product portfolios.
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to define requirements and groom user stories.
  • Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.
  • Monitor business, market, and technology trends to inform product strategy.
  • Contribute to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and champion product improvements.
  • Manage investment decision making and finances for the product, focusing on return-on-investment.
  • Guide the product engineering team to scope, plan, and deliver work using established delivery methodologies.
  • Identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for products.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate, financial, and IT standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five or more years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience determining and overseeing software development initiatives
  • Strong experience in understanding business partner and client needs
  • Demonstrated success in defining and building products

Nice-to-haves

  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Experience with automation of CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of agile methodology and software development lifecycles
  • Experience with version control (Git) and open-source practices
