BAE Systems Intelligence & Security is seeking a highly qualified Technical Project Manager to support the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Office and the Trident II D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) programs. This role involves providing programmatic support in various Department of Defense (DoD) Program Protection areas, which are critical to the overall System Security Engineering. Key responsibilities include managing aspects such as Criticality, Critical Program Identification, Hardware Assurance, Software Assurance Cybersecurity, Supply Chain Security, and Asymmetrical Threat Vulnerability Management. The successful candidate will also engage in traditional security processes, including Physical Security and Communication Security for various programs including D5LE, D5LE2, CPS, NWS, and W93/Mk7. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Technical Project Manager will be expected to create necessary plans for the successful execution of DoD defense acquisition programs. This includes Program Protection, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, and hardware and software plans, all in accordance with SSP Policies and Procedures. The role requires collaboration with government customers to develop policies and processes, as well as implement tools for architecting, modeling, and designing system security countermeasures that can effectively defend against adversary attacks. The position also demands strong leadership skills to communicate, coordinate, and collaborate effectively across various boundaries to achieve positive results. The candidate should be team-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of adapting to a dynamic programmatic environment. Coordination with the System Security Engineering (SSE) community, both internal and external to BAE Systems, is essential. Experience in Agile development environments, including Sprint planning and the use of Jira for tracking program progress, is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in performing root cause analysis related to technical software and hardware deliveries.
