About the position

The Manager, Technology Operations at Cresco Labs is responsible for supporting retail store technology deployments and managing the technology roadmap as the company expands. This role involves conducting cost-benefit analyses, developing and deploying technical solutions, coordinating project components, and ensuring timely completion of corporate operations within budget. The position requires collaboration with various technical teams and external clients, as well as training development and documentation of IT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis to determine operational alternatives with comparative advantage
  • Develop and deploy firmware, software, and hardware solutions to meet technical requirements
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all technical components of projects
  • Work with technical teams, engineers, project managers, and external clients
  • Ensure corporate operations are completed within deadlines and budgets
  • Coordinate training development to maximize product utilization
  • Document and maintain relevant IT processes and standards
  • Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software
  • Develop processes for resolving technical challenges and client complaints
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical and human resource policies
  • Resolve or escalate technical issues for optimal resolution
  • Work with product owners to address escalated issues at the root cause level
  • Provide guidance on technical and managerial operations
  • Ensure provision of technical equipment and materials for operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven technical project management experience; 3+ years of IT Governance/Portfolio Management experience preferred
  • Competent analytical skills and business acumen; detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams at all levels
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing environments
  • Experience managing IT investments, including business case development
  • Experience managing Agile software development projects
  • Knowledge of key concepts within the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Experience with Digital Transformation and customer experience improvement initiatives
  • Acquisition due diligence and integration experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Practical experience using SAP ERP, Salesforce CRM, E-Commerce Applications, SharePoint, and Kanban
