About the position

The Manager, Technology Pricing Strategy at KPMG is responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive pricing strategies for SaaS and technology products. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to tailor pricing models to meet the firm's needs, staying informed about industry trends, and transitioning the firm from traditional pricing methods to modern, value-based pricing structures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in shaping and executing comprehensive SaaS and technology pricing strategies across both existing technologies and new product introductions.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of pricing strategy execution, from design to deployment, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective pricing models.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and perform market research to inform pricing decisions and align with client needs.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and drive profitability.
  • Conduct the firm's transition from traditional pricing to strategic, modern structures, including value-based pricing and performance-based agreements.
  • Lead the definition of pricing optimization and solution attributes in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Manage price optimization modeling and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in pricing strategy, commercial enablement, or related roles, preferably in a professional services, technology, or SaaS firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with SaaS pricing models and strategies is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing solution/product visions and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience in defining solution attribution-based price optimization models; strong analytical and quantitative skills.
