The Manager Technology role at Baptist Health South Florida is responsible for building and enhancing technology solutions to meet complex business needs. This position involves leading the evaluation of new technology and developing product roadmaps while providing technical and strategic direction. Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of managerial and leadership experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise applications and databases with load balancing, horizontal scalability, high availability, containers, and server-less technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in Cloud Native Design Patterns, Microservices, and API Strategy.
• Experience in Java, web application development, and associated skills in a high-stakes environment.
• Strong working knowledge of software development technologies, specifically high-volume solutions.
• Experience with Smart / FHIR implementations.
• Experience developing fault tolerant distributed systems is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of Agile Software Development mechanics.
• Background in Service Oriented Architecture, microservices architecture implementation, service versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management.
