About the position

The Manager, Territory Sales is responsible for leading a remote sales team to drive market share and sales growth for Progressive Leasing. This role involves developing and executing effective sales strategies, training programs, and managing relationships with retail partners. The position requires significant travel and is focused on achieving revenue objectives while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and train new and existing accounts, acting as the first line of escalation for new national accounts.
  • Hire and train staff, creating goals and motivating the team to meet revenue objectives.
  • Develop relationships with local leadership teams of retailers, including delivering quarterly business review meetings.
  • Manage a team of Territory Sales Representatives.
  • Utilize hardware and software to enhance accountability and performance efficiencies.
  • Conduct field-based national account sales training to ensure team accountability in meeting financial quotas.
  • Manage department costs and budget.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • 3 years minimum of retail experience with a proven track record of success in a retail environment.
  • Ability to travel 50% to 75%.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in CRM systems and able to coach the team on logging activities and analyzing reports.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills with strong motivational abilities.
  • Ability to deliver tough messaging positively to change behavior.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • College degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
