The manager will also execute marketing programs and provide education on new items to customers, ensuring they have access to an optimal product mix. Additionally, the role involves monitoring accounts receivables and managing sales-related fiscal activities, including credits, expenses, and merchandising hours. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with the ability to forecast demand for current and promotional items. Attendance at trade shows, meetings, and training sessions is also expected, along with collaboration within a team-focused environment to meet strategic sales objectives. Responsibilities

  • Grow profitable base and vertical sales while acquiring new business.
  • Own customer relationships and drive additional points of distribution through targeted category reviews, promotions, and new item innovation.
  • Exhibit a proactive and assertive sales approach to urgently grow sales and profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business and develop strategic selling initiatives.
  • Sell a productive portfolio to ensure customers have an optimal product mix.
  • Lead conversations around promotional programs and capture extra performance dollars.
  • Identify and open new accounts while expanding existing accounts through strategic vertical sales projects.
  • Execute KeHE marketing programs and store level services to maintain and grow sales.
  • Educate customers and provide access to new items and build relevant programs.
  • Monitor and assist all accounts receivables activities.
  • Manage sales, credits, expenses, merchandising hours, drop size, and extra performance activities.
  • Communicate and collaborate within a team-focused environment to meet strategic sales objectives.
  • Forecast current, new, and promotional item demand.
  • Attend trade shows, meetings, and trainings as assigned.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in sales or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development and sales growth.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with current retailer relationships being a plus.
  • Ability to forecast demand for products and promotional items.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
