About the position

The Manager of Therapeutic Services for the PHP Program is responsible for overseeing the delivery of healthcare services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing departmental operations. This role involves setting policies, developing goals, and supervising staff to enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to patients.

Responsibilities

• Work to improve efficiency and quality in delivering healthcare services.
• Set and carry out policies, processes, and procedures for the departments.
• Develop departmental goals and objectives.
• Ensure that the facility is up to date and compliant with new laws and regulations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff and evaluate the quality of their work.
• Manage budget and the finances of the department, such as billing and patient fees.
• Create work schedule, prepare and monitor budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within allocated funds.
• Represent the department at community or clinical meetings.
• Keep and organize records of the services provided.
• Communicate with members of the facility or medical staff.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
• Acknowledge and work to resolve complaints when patients' needs are not met.
• Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the field.
• Must have either an LCSW or LPCMH or a Professional Counselor of Mental Health Licensure.
• Master's degree or better in Social Services.
