About the position

As the Manager of Trade Marketing at Glossier, you will play a crucial role in growing the wholesale business by executing the channel marketing strategy. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and wholesale partners to bring innovative products and campaigns to life, ensuring alignment with the company's goals. You will manage various marketing initiatives, coordinate retailer needs, and maintain strong relationships with accounts to drive successful product launches and marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage retailer product setup forms and submit all documents by retailer deadlines.
  • Oversee all retailer creative needs including dotcom, merchandising, collateral, event materials, and education from brief to final deliverable.
  • Manage retailer sampling and GWP forecasting, planning, execution, and budgeting.
  • Maintain retailer marketing calendars for exclusives, promotions, sampling programs, and events.
  • Ensure accurate updates of retailer side by sides with all promotional and marketing activity.
  • Serve as the primary point person for NA wholesale marketing and lead internal cross-functional meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and presentations for retailer market week meetings and ongoing updates with accounts.
  • Issue detailed meeting recaps and manage follow-up actions.
  • Develop and maintain retailer-specific calendars to track launch dates and programs.
  • Manage account relationships and field retailer requests.
  • Travel for retailer meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
  • Develop seasonal and long-term retailer-specific strategies and execute successful product launches and exclusive programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch retailer-specific products.
  • Manage excess sample inventory and track new sample production to meet programming timing.
  • Coordinate with global marketing on brand marketing campaigns to meet retailer needs and due dates.
  • Work with PR/Social team to provide digital support to retail partners.
  • Report on competitive initiatives in the field and leverage market insights for business success metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing-related experience.
  • Experience working with Sephora.
  • Self-starter with a solution-minded approach.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to conceptualize new ideas.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal capabilities with external partners and internal teams.
  • High proficiency in quantitative analysis and budget management.
