The Training & Development Manager at Stonhard is responsible for developing and implementing the Four Phase Sales Training Program for all new Territory Managers during their first two years with the organization. This role involves identifying, implementing, benchmarking, and improving sales training and performance solutions for all Territory Managers (TMs) using a value-based sales approach. The manager will work closely with the Director of Sales Training and the VP of Sales to develop, launch, and manage effective sales training strategies that align with area, regional, and corporate goals and objectives. Additionally, the manager will monitor TM performance and collaborate with Sales Managers to identify the best methods of assistance in areas requiring improvement. The role also includes assisting in the design and development of training programs for Area Sales Managers to support the ongoing education of all field personnel, ensuring the quality of sales training programs through continuous monitoring and evaluation. The manager will initiate follow-up field rides with new TMs to provide direct on-the-job training and coaching, and assist in sales hiring as necessary.
