About the position

The Manager of the Transplant Program at Penn State Health is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the Heart, Kidney, and Liver transplant programs. This role involves collaboration with the Transplant Program Director and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care from pre-transplant to post-transplant stages, while also focusing on financial and quality outcomes in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the Transplant program.
  • Collaborate with the Transplant Program Director to ensure quality patient care services.
  • Manage financial and quality outcomes of the transplant program.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an appropriate allied health or hospital leadership position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a healthcare-related field or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • One (1) or more years of experience with transplant and/or cardiovascular services.
  • Managerial and financial experience within a hospital setting preferred.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and produce financial plans and reports preferred.
