About the position

The Manager, Transport Client Services - Media for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will oversee the planning and delivery of transport services for media and broadcast clients during the tournament. This role is crucial for ensuring that all media personnel receive the necessary transport services in accordance with FIFA's service standards, facilitating a smooth experience during the events. The position involves close collaboration with various teams to coordinate transport logistics, manage service level agreements, and act as the primary contact for media-related transport inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with transport teams to develop services for Media and Broadcast clients according to FIFA Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Work with the arrivals and departures team to implement airport services for Media and Broadcast clients.
  • Collaborate with media operations to ensure proper planning of client service levels.
  • Assist client owners in resolving issues and finding operational solutions during the planning phase.
  • Manage budgets associated with Media and Broadcast transport services.
  • Draft and finalize Principle Service Level Agreements (PSLAs) and Detailed Service Level Agreements (DSLAs).
  • Ensure integration of transport services with all functional areas of FIFA.
  • Plan and deliver transport desks at various venues including the International Broadcast Center and stadiums.
  • Train and brief transport staff and volunteers on Media and Broadcast transport services.
  • Develop communications and presentations for Media and Broadcast information.
  • Plan transport services for events leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
  • Identify key risks related to transport services and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the single point of contact for any issues related to Media and Broadcast transport during the tournament.
  • Assist with planning and operational delivery of transport services for test events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Event Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of transport work experience, preferably in major sports events.
  • Experience as a Client Transport Manager or similar role for at least three years.
  • Experience working with Media and Broadcast clients and understanding their transport needs.
  • Experience in multi-functional event organizations and dynamic environments.
  • Experience in event transport planning including bus operations.
  • Proven project delivery experience and team leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Media and Broadcast transport requirements.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and planning software.
