About the position

The Manager, US Card Executive Communications is a leadership role focused on developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies for senior executives within the US Card Leadership Team at Capital One. This position aims to enhance internal communications that align with the leaders' business strategies and foster a positive associate experience, all while promoting the organization's values and culture. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and engage various stakeholders to drive effective communication initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communications strategy that enhances leaders' internal brand and brings organizational narratives to life.
• Curate engaging experiences through storytelling, including leadership gatherings and all-employee meetings.
• Serve as a strategic partner to executive communicators and chiefs of staff to prepare effective internal communications.
• Lead change management communications when necessary to support business initiatives.
• Draft leader talking points and review presentations for clarity and impact.
• Provide counsel on communicating business strategy and managing issues effectively.
• Evaluate communication performance using metrics and recommend refinements based on assessments.
• Influence internal partners to align communications with business interests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing integrated communication strategies.

• Strong business acumen and executive presence with a history of cultivating trusting relationships with executive leaders.
