About the position

The Manager of UX/UI Design at Cable One is responsible for leading the design strategy for digital products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. This role involves overseeing the entire design process, mentoring a team of designers, and conducting user research to enhance user experience. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to integrate design and functionality effectively, while also advocating for user-centric design practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall design strategy for digital products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Manage the entire design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality and visually stunning deliverables.
• Mentor and guide a talented team of designers, copywriters, and content editors, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, marketing, branding, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital products.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in design practices.
• Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to refine and enhance design solutions.
• Monitor and analyze design performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness of design solutions.
• Champion the importance of UX/UI design within the organization, promoting best practices and user-centric thinking.

Requirements

• Proven experience in UX/UI design and leading design teams.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
