About the position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and staff supervision. This role is critical in ensuring efficient processes to meet customer demands while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The position offers growth opportunities within a safe and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to maximize productivity, improve efficiency and accuracy and reduce cost.
  • Manage and lead a team of 50+ associates and supervisors across an assigned production shift to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
  • Partner with Transportation Manager to ensure the highest level of efficiency within the overall operation.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and coordinate with inventory and procurement team around low stock items, seasonal swings, product returns, and customer promotions.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards and procedures to create a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to meet customer requirements and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 4-6 years warehouse management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and leading a team of 50+ associates.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 6-10 years warehouse experience including in-depth knowledge of all warehouse phases within foodservice industry.
  • OSHA Forklift operator certification and experience operating material handling equipment preferred.
