About the position

Fresh is seeking a Manager for Wholesale Inventory Planning in North America, based in our New York City office. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the right levels of inventory are maintained at our wholesale accounts, which include major retailers such as Sephora US+MX, Ulta, and Kohl's. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets while also maintaining inventory goals. This position offers a hybrid working schedule, with three fixed days in the office and two days remote, allowing for a balance between collaboration and flexibility. In this role, you will monitor and achieve targeted In Stock/Presence rates at wholesale accounts, manage optimal inventory levels across different channels (Brick and Mortar vs. Ecommerce), and develop tactics to mitigate forecast fluctuations. You will also be tasked with accurately forecasting and maintaining a rolling 12-month key item forecast for the top 25 SKUs for respective key accounts, projecting Sales, Receipts, and Inventory with a targeted Weeks of Supply (WOS). Collaboration with the Senior Manager of Supply Planning and the Sr. Manager of Demand Planning will be essential to align forecasts and ensure that the North America Total is accurately represented. Your impact will extend to implementing defined strategies and best practices that ensure excellence in supply planning, including segmentation, safety stock, inventory analysis, predictive analytics, and scenario planning. You will maintain the North America Order Book Roll Up on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that monthly shipment forecasts are achieved, and you will communicate variances effectively to develop solutions that maximize opportunities and minimize risks. Additionally, you will conduct ad hoc analyses and build new tools and models to support the planning process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the right levels of inventory at Wholesale accounts to achieve sales targets while maintaining inventory goals.
  • Monitor and achieve targeted In Stock/Presence rates at wholesale accounts.
  • Manage optimal inventory for each channel (Brick and Mortar vs. Ecommerce).
  • Review Inventory Turn, In Stocks, WOS, Sell Thru, and sales trends to develop tactics to mitigate forecast fluctuations.
  • Develop strong relationships with Wholesale Partners' planning teams to enhance planning processes and retailer fill rates.
  • Forecast and maintain a rolling 12-month key item forecast for the top 25 SKUs, projecting Sales, Receipts, and Inventory with a targeted WOS.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Supply Planning and Sr. Manager of Demand Planning to align forecasts.
  • Implement strategies and best practices for supply planning, including segmentation and predictive analytics.
  • Maintain NA Order Book Roll Up to ensure monthly shipment forecasts are achieved and communicate variances effectively.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly sales and inventory reports to support analysis and forecasting.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and build new tools and models as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Buying, Retail Planning, Inventory Management, and/or Allocation.
  • Strong business acumen and financial aptitude, commercially astute and profit-driven.
  • Experience with weekly/monthly SKU-level assortment planning is highly recommended.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills with an understanding of Retail Math.
  • Natural curiosity to explore and find opportunities or solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to align with the brand by bringing creative thinking and innovation to drive profitable business decisions.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in lookups, pivot tables, and links.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse orchestration and experience with retail analytics data models.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and a strong sense of ownership.
