About the position

The Manager, Workday Grants at KPMG will lead Workday Financials projects, focusing on strategy, implementation support, and ERP optimization related to IT operations and business processes. This role is crucial in ensuring data integrity and security for Workday applications, particularly in Research and Grants processes. The position also involves supervising staff, managing engagements, and supporting business development activities, all while upholding KPMG's values of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday Financials projects involving strategy, implementation support, and ERP optimization related to IT operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for Workday applications, specifically for Research and Grants processes.
  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities; collaborate with KPMG resources from other service lines/industries.
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of ERP Advisory engagements for various clients, including process design, package implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
  • Supervise and performance manage staff working on assigned engagements.
  • Manage engagements according to KPMG's financial/cost management policies.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of enterprise resource planning (ERP), Financials implementation and upgrade experience; Healthcare Industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university.
  • Completion of one full implementation with Workday Financials and Workday certification in Financials or Integration (candidates must secure certification within three months of employment if not already held).
  • Strong verbal and analytical skills with the ability to write at a publication quality level.
  • Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general module functionality.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
