About the position

The Manager, Workforce Management Product Owner at Sherwin-Williams is responsible for developing new product concepts and features that align with the objectives of the Shared Business Services Organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of the UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) solutions, managing the product backlog, and communicating the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of product management, agile methodologies, and the ability to influence and lead teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new concepts for products and features in alignment with the objectives of the Shared Business Services Organization (SBS).
  • Create user stories detailing business requirements and prioritize them to ensure maximum value alignment with the Workforce Management strategy.
  • Ensure UKG Pro WFM functional and technical deliverables are created from business user stories and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Conduct formal performance reviews and celebrate individual and team successes.
  • Comprehend key business objectives and requirements for UKG Pro WFM to make final decisions on functionality.
  • Provide feedback to the WFM Center of Excellence to help define a product strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements for successful deployment.
  • Work in partnership with process owners to ensure appropriate execution of processes.
  • Collect feedback from users to enhance UKG Pro WFM features and usability.
  • Groom the product backlog, breaking down epics and estimating user stories in collaboration with the delivery team.
  • Track progress towards releases of UKG Pro WFM features and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate UKG Pro WFM vision, roadmap, and business intent to the Scrum/delivery team.
  • Assist with the development of product training that aligns with the organization's change management plan.
  • Develop acceptance criteria to ensure thorough testing of the solution.
  • Review Release Notes and identify new features or functionality that will support business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in an agile delivery framework or Product Owner role.
  • 5+ years experience in managing projects or delivering technology solutions.
  • Prior knowledge of key processes and technical products within Workforce Management.
  • Experience working with SaaS Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Product Ownership for Agile Scrum Teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence peers and executives.
