About the position

The Manager at Zaxby's plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and leading the restaurant team. This position is responsible for overseeing both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and safety. The Manager is dedicated to training employees, managing costs, and creating a positive dining experience for guests while embodying the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager and lead the restaurant team.
• Control all FOH and BOH aspects of the restaurant.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and safety.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on operational procedures.
• Manage labor costs, food waste, and inventory effectively.
• Supervise up to 15 employees and provide performance feedback.
• Open and close the restaurant according to checklists.
• Resolve employee and customer satisfaction issues.
• Complete daily and weekly administrative duties such as scheduling and financial reporting.
• Utilize the Micros system for financial and administrative procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
• Understanding of financial management related to labor and inventory.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and implement safety protocols.
• Punctual and dependable with reliable transportation.
