About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations in our gaming/casual dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly while delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, training development, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and lead each store's exceptional customer-focused employees.
  • Communicate company objectives through face-to-face communication, team meetings, and daily calls to each property.
  • Ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained.
  • Perform visitations of each location on a consistent basis to ensure quality standards are being maintained.
  • Instill and uphold the mission of cultivating relationships through personalized service.
  • Lead recognition and motivational efforts throughout the area for team members and guests.
  • Work hands-on in each property to ensure compliance of guest service, cleanliness, and standards of excellence.
  • Provide guidance to all team members, leading by example.
  • Execute all schedules, minimizing overtime and ensuring proper coverage.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels with thorough inventory and purchasing.
  • Ensure team members have up-to-date food manager and basset certifications.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner including weekly and monthly reports and business reviews.
  • Responsible for retaining food budgetary goals and ensuring operational and financial targets remain within agreed-upon budgets and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with employees and customers.
  • Proactively identify and manage challenges to address customer concerns and issues.
  • Address underperformance and accountability with necessary documentation.
  • Analyze employee performance and provide feedback, guidance, and training to impact results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food management within a casual dining setting.
  • Strong background in kitchen management with a focus on culinary excellence.
  • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in training development for staff at various skill levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and guests.
